Outdoor Edge® Appoints Three New Managers

DENVER (Aug. 8, 2018) — David Bloch, president and founder of Outdoor Edge announced today that the company has added three new employees to its staff. Kirk Nichols has joined the company as export sales manager, Michael Egan has joined as the hardware sales manager, and Jonathan Stahlman has come aboard as the key account sales manager. The appointments are effective immediately, and all three managers will report to Vice President of Sales & Marketing Colin Wayne.

Nichols joins Outdoor Edge with nearly two decades of international sales experience with companies such as Newton Running in Boulder, Colorado and LaCrosse Footwear, Inc. in Portland, OR. In his capacity as export sales manager, Nichols will be responsible for maintaining and growing the export accounts and the administration of all export of goods. A graduate of the University of Portland, Nichols currently resides in Boulder, Colo.

In the newly created position of hardware sales manager, Egan will be responsible for managing all sales and relationships with existing hardware, paint and automotive accounts, as well as identifying opportunities for new accounts. He will attend trade shows and events for hardware distributors and dealers. Prior to joining the Outdoor Edge team, he held the position of regional sales manager for Wayin for two years. Egan is a graduate of State University of New York at Cortland with a B.S. in Sport Business and Communications, and he currently resides in Denver.

Stahlman brings tremendous experience in the sales sector, having previously worked for a range of international dive equipment companies including American Underwater Products, Oceanic Worldwide, Hollis and Aeris. In the new position of key account sales manager, Stahlman will be responsible for driving year-over-year sales and building upon existing relationships with large-volume customers to maximize opportunities. He will also prospect, open and manage new customers in the BBQ, housewares, fishing, subscription box, tactical, and convenience store markets. A graduate of the University of Colorado, Stahlman holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics with Business Management. An avid outdoorsman, he currently resides in Indian Hills, Colo.
