RIVERTON, Wyo. (June 28, 2018) — The official grand opening for Hi Mountain Seasonings new jerky-making facility took place on Friday, June 22 and was a tremendous success. With more than 200 business associates, media and friends in attendance, the celebration included a formal ribbon cutting, a few words from company owners Hans and Kimberly Hummel, facility tours, catered food and a live band.
For the very first time, guests were able to see the new 4,000-square foot jerky making facility. The visitors toured the facility with members of the Hi Mountain Seasonings team that run the facility.
“We are extremely excited about our new ready-made beef jerky and the tremendous amount of attention it is generating,” said Hans Hummel. “It was overwhelming and quite humbling to see so many people from all over the country come to visit our town to attend the grand opening of our new jerky facility. It was great to share with them what we’ve built.”
Currently, there are four flavors of USDA-certified ready-made beef jerky being produced: Hickory, Mesquite, Pepper and Original. All four are made with beef raised in the U.S. Plans to expand the offerings are already in the works.
