With more than 30-years’ experience in the outdoor, hunting, fishing and shooting industries, owner Karen Lutto Leatherwood works on every account personally. Hunter Outdoor Communications (HOC) is a full service public relations company based in the South Texas Hill Country and a satellite office in Richmond, VA. HOC is active in the Southeastern Outdoor Writers Association (SEOPA), Association of Great Lakes Outdoor Writers (AGLOW), Northwest Outdoor Writers Association (NOWA), Texas Outdoor Writers Association (TOWA), New York State Outdoor Writers Association (NOWA) and Professional Outdoor Writers Association (POMA.)

I am a graduate from San Jose State University with a Bachelor’s degree in public relations. I attended graduation school at Virginia Commonwealth University. I am an active participant in the outdoor sports of fishing, hunting, hiking, and shooting.
