ELIOT, Maine (June 6, 2022) — Named after Maine’s deepest water, Sebago Lake, Al’s Goldfish Lure Company’s trolling rigs are both alluring and effective. They are extremely effective in their ability to imitate schools of bait fish when targeting species such as trout, salmon and walleye.
The flashing, shimmering, vibrating action of Al’s gang-troll flashers makes them irresistible and the ability to customize the lengths makes them more versatile than other trolling rigs on the market. They are available in two sizes 25 in. and 11 in. and are built with stainless steel wire segments which attach to each other with snap swivels, giving the angler the option to customize the length and presentation of the rig based on the water depth and targeted species. Each of the custom Sebago blades are plated in either shiny nickel or 22k gold.
The large 25 in. rig is fashioned with five segments and three blades, the largest of which measures 4 in. long and attaches to its wire segment on the broad end of the blade, which produces a different vibration and action than that of blades typically attaching on the narrow end. The 11 in. rig is also segmented in two pieces and is well suited for smaller species and shallow water. Noticeably absent on both rigs is a rudder. This can be added if you want but is not necessary for these rigs.
Despite being loaded with polished metal and faceted glass beads for brilliant shine and flash, Al’s Sebago trolling rigs are surprisingly light and pull easily through the water without heavy drag. They work equally well on a downrigger or flat-lined.
You can find Al’s trolling rigs on Amazon.com, directly from alsgoldfish.com or by Clicking Here. They are available for a suggested retail price of $21.00 for the 25 in. and $13.00 for the 11 in. model. Both are proudly made in the USA.
Deadly effective and incredibly fun, this is one trolling rig that you will find most effective. So, grab your rod and your Al’s Sebago rig and head out for a successful and memorable outing on the water!
About Al’s Goldfish Lure CompanyThe company was launched in 1952 with a single pioneering spoon lure, known as Stuart’s Goldfish, named after founder Al Stuart. The company’s flagship lure was renamed Al’s Goldfish in 1954, and by 1973 the popularity of the Goldfish lure soared to nearly one million lures sold in a year. Along the way, other popular lures, such as the Forty-Niner and Helgy, and hook bonnet lure accessories were added to the company’s list of American-made products. In 2015 the line was expanded to include the Saltwater Goldfish series. In 2022, present owners Jeff and Mandy DeBuigne are celebrating the 70 year anniversary of the Goldfish lure.
