The Texas Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America (TPVA) Announces the Fall Sporting Clays Shoot NSCA Tournament 2023

SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 13, 2023) ⎯  The Texas Chapter of the Paralyzed Veterans of America will host the Fall Sporting Clays Shoot NSCA Tournament 2023. This year’s fundraising event will be held on October 1, 2023, at Moyesway Shooting Sports, located at 12601 FM 20, Kingsbury, TX 78638.

This event is sure to be a fantastic day of competition and comradery for individuals, friends, and corporate folks. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. with a 9:00 a.m. start time for the European rotation. The awards banquet is at noon, and a silent auction will be open all day. The donation is $150 for 100 Bird NSCA Main event and $60 50-bird NSCA Prelim event.

All participants must bring their own side-by-side or over/under shotgun (no autoloaders or pumps), shells, eye protection and ear protection. The maximum shell size is 12 gauge, 2 3/4″, #7.5-shot, 1 1/4 oz. loads.  

All proceeds from this fun-filled event will benefit Paralyzed Veterans of America.

About the Texas Chapter of Paralyzed Veterans of America

The purpose of Texas Chapter Paralyzed Veterans of America (Texas PVA) is to help our members and their families, veterans, and all people with disabilities with accessibility issues, civil rights, VA benefits, transportation issues, and new laws to enhance the lives of people with disabilities. Texas PVA also advocates for veterans and individuals suffering from spinal cord injury or disease in order to assist them in integrating into mainstream society and to open avenues towards living life to its fullest.

One of the ways that Paralyzed Veterans of America accomplishes its purpose is to promote the health and wellbeing of the disabled person. Paralyzed Veterans of America provides information and equipment to potential wheelchair athletes. Archery, basketball, boating, football, sit-skiing, racquetball, rugby, swimming, tennis, track and field, and weightlifting are among the many sports and recreation activities in which our members can participate.
