DANVILLE, Ala. (June 14, 2016) — The team at Hunter Safety System, the company dedicated to saving hunters’ lives, is pleased to announce the award-winning television show, “Heartland Bowhunter” has joined the HSS family.
In its ninth season, the creators of “Heartland Bowhunter” pride themselves on their founding principle of quality. This remains true for all elements of the show—from service, to production, to product sponsorship, to on-air personalities—“Heartland Bowhunter” elevates the production standard of outdoor television, while bringing a unique and exciting format to the screen. This show documents the exciting adventures of its eight-person team as they bow hunt all over the mid-west for everything from whitetail deer to Canada geese.
“Safety is always a serious concern when hunting from elevated stands” said Michael Hunsucker, “Heartland Bowhunter” host, “The reality is, every time we climb, our lives and careers are on the line, not to mention the impact a fall would have on our families. We wanted to work with the best. Hunter Safety System is by far the industry leader; they are the standard all others are measured by. Some companies make several different hunting products and just happen to make harnesses also. With Hunter Safety System, tree stand safety, meaning safety harnesses, is all they do, it’s their sole focus. I take great comfort in that.”
Heartland Bowhunter can be seen on the Outdoor Channel on Mondays and Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m., and Thursdays at 5:00 a.m. and 9:30 p.m. (all times EST). The 2016 season will premier on Monday, June 27, at 8:30 a.m.
